To my fellow, empowered women It is such a great pleasure for me to deliver my book to you! I feel a great connection to all my female comrades who like me, are battling to find a balance between our - careers - home upkeep - finances - social lives - our family, friends, children, co-workers - as well as giving back to our community. And gosh forbid out of all of this, we take some time to take care of ourselves! Happiness in certain moments seems like a far stretch for us doesn't it? Juggling our busy lives can take its toll, coupled with bouts of stress and panic. Minutes turn into hours: productivity is replaced with procrastination. The most unfortunate and unlikely incidents happen and our days became doused with strong tones of worry and anxiety. This sounds exactly like a mirror image of how my life seemed not so long ago. So what changed? I did. And THAT has led me onto my own path: to figuring out easy, step by step, simple strategies that are quick to implement and have been effective in creating CHANGE my own life. During this period, I had to really think about who I was, where I was sabotaging myself, and how I could change that: what beliefs prevented me from doing what I really wanted to do and how I wanted to be, especially when it came to fear and failure. I researched many inspirational role models and successful leaders, and noticed their differences in thinking to my own. After learning all this, I really felt the need to give back to my fellow female comrades who seemed stuck, just as I had been. Which is why I wrote this book. This isn't a miracle book that's going to solve all your problems. Nor does it contain an unearthed, never before heard philosophy that will bring about a HUGE REVELATION in you. This is a short ebook containing my own practical lessons. Something you can read though easily, short and sweet. I believe, there is no quick fix solution to all our problems. We always say it starts with one step, but what most people forget is that to really get somewhere, we need to continue taking step after step after step. It’:s not just about starting. It’:s about not stopping. I believe that deep down, we all truly know the answers to our problems. But sometimes, out of all the CRAZY that is our lives, we forget. And we just need to be reminded of the certain, simple little things. This is what I hope this book can be for you. A reminder, to align yourself with who you really are and how you wish to feel. A reminder, to keep your feet taking one step after another. I was a woman who used to be highly stressed and overwhelmed. But I realized that change began with me believing in it. And I know that this can be the way for you too. Just by coming onto this page, you have taken the wonderful step of acknowledging that you too would like something to change. You wouldn't be considering reading my book if you didn't. And THAT is a brilliant thing! Sometimes, I really think we women don't give ourselves enough credit. If there’:s anything I want you to take away from taking the time to read about my book, it is this. Remember to appreciate yourself.
